Click on the images to see them a little bigger. Essentially, the campaign idea is because ‘the world gives you enough tags,’ Hanes provides tagless undies. Except in the process they not only ‘tagged’ faggots, niggers and paks, they provided a cute, little ads showing all the stereotypes along with it. NOT OKAY. (Also, not okay: blackface.)
What do you think? It’s clever and I think it’s visually pleasing. I realize the point is that these tags are not good, but I’m sorry, it’s just not gonna cut it. This is hella offensive. GLAAD’s Rashad Robinson made a statement about the ads. And Hanes apologizes, though in my opinion that apology was simply putting the blame on their advertising company in India. Remember how Ron Paul tried to detach himself from the racist quotes from his early publications because someone else wrote them? His name was on those publications and he is responsible for what he’s putting out there, whether he wrote it or not. Nuff said.

I’m glad he put out a statement. In-a-frigg-in-propriate.
Ref’d u on my post about it.
